Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 October 2026

Werewolf Town (“the game”) is made by MTX Games, based in Sri Lanka. By creating an account or playing, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

Who can play

You must be at least 13. If the law where you live sets a higher age for using online services without a parent's consent, that age applies instead. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up and may remove accounts that don't meet the age requirement.

How to behave

Werewolf is a game about lying, so bluffing, accusing and betraying people inside the game is fine. Real harassment is not. Don't:

Reports and moderation

Players can report and block each other. When someone files a report we save a snapshot of recent village chat so a moderator can review it. We may warn, mute, suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these terms, and we may remove content, names or avatars. Serious or repeated breaches can mean a ban without a warning. If you think we got it wrong, email us and we'll take another look.

Purchases

The game is free to play. Some items, like cosmetics or the Host Pass, can be bought with real money through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Those stores handle payment and refunds under their own rules, and we don't see your card details. Purchases only change how things look or what a host can set up. They don't change who wins. Virtual items have no cash value and can't be transferred.

Our content and yours

The game, its art, roles, code and branding belong to MTX Games. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to play it, and that's all. Please don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer it.

You keep ownership of what you write (chat, bio, custom village lore). By posting it in the game you let us display it to other players and store it as needed to run and moderate the game.

Availability

We're a small studio. The game is provided as it is, and we can't promise it will always be online, bug-free or that your progress will never be lost. We may change features, rebalance roles or shut down parts of the game, and we'll try to give notice if we do something major.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, MTX Games isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the game, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law where you live.

Ending things

You can stop playing and delete your account any time, see the support page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above will change, and for big changes we'll tell you in the game. Carrying on after that means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
